Can I have a late check out time?
During check in, simply mention it. We will do all that we can to make it possible. If another guest is coming into that site, then you will need to move but otherwise, checking out an hour later or so is not a problem.
Is my site satellite friendly?
Due to tree coverage, many sites do not receive great satellite feed. However, if that is a major concern, please call (217) 342-1111 to check if there is a site available with less tree coverage.
Are there trees near my site?
Each of our campgrounds have trees spaced throughout them to provide shade. Feel free to call us at (217) 342-1111 if having one at your site is a major concern.
Is my site a pretty level site?
Yes. We at Lantern DeForest RV Resorts work to ensure each site is kept as level as possible.
I have family stopping by, can they park at my site?
We request that any visitors park in the parking lot instead of at campsites. Doing so allows all of our guests to have room to come and go as they want.
What is your cancellation policy?
Any cancellations made, regardless of notice given, will be subject to a 4% cancellation fee. Cancellations made with a 3 or more day notice (from the check-in date) will receive a full refund minus the 4% fee. Bookings made within the 3 day period will disqualify you for any refund at all. A no-show will be treated as a cancellation with no notice and will be given no refund.
Can I just come fill my tank with water?
Yes, it is $10 to fill your water tank
Do you have buddy sites?
No, our current campgrounds do not, unfortunately, have buddy sites.

Pool Policy
The pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day from 9:00 a.m. to dusk. There is no lifeguard on duty. State law requires that anyone (15) fifteen years old or younger be accompanied by a guardian of (21) twenty-one years of age or older while in and/or around a pool area. Therefore, we will ask any children swimming without an appropriate guardian to leave the pool and pool area. We put your child’s safety above all else, and we hope you agree with us.
We also must stipulate the following while in the pool area: NO smoking, NO pets, NO food nor drinks, and NO diving and/or running for safety purposes.
